What is Rotary?

We are professional men and women devoted to making a difference in the community, whether that’s a neighborhood, our city, our state or world. Our full name is Rotary Club of West Sedgwick County-Sunrise . We meet for breakfast --- 7 am to 8 am every Thursday at Rolling Hills Country Club. But we are more than a breakfast club. Our list of community service projects rivals larger clubs.

We were founded in 2001 with 24 charter members. Ten charter members remain active which says a lot about the viability of our organization which has 42 members.

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change- across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision.
