What is the Sunrise Boundless Playscape?

A dream made real by the Rotary Club of West Sedgwick County Sunrise.  

An all-abilities playground.  Everyone plays regardless of physical challenges. It has 350 linear feet of concrete ramps and 13,000 square feet of rubberized wheelchair friendly surfacing. 

A $3.75 million dollar gift to the community to commemorate Rotary International’s centennial. Phase I of the Playscape was dedicated in 2009; Phase II dedicated in 2019. 

1.5 acres of outdoor play space in the heart of Sedgwick County Park with the largest variety of play equipment for toddlers to elementary age children.   

A private-public partnership with Sedgwick County for day-to-day maintenance.  Sunrise Rotarians hold bi-annual clean-ups at the Playscape.
